You may be asking yourself: "What's to stop me from capturing level 24 creatures to minimize my effort on this one?"

The answer: Nothing's stopping you. It works.

At this moment, if a pet which has reached level 25 is reduced to level 24 or 23 due to the use of a battle-stone, leveling it to 25 again will count toward the achievement.

The Incursion in Krasarang Wilds is a great place to level pets. Lots of wild battle pets in the area, a stable master right there for heals, and a good variety of secondary pets in case you're farming rares at the same time. Take a few runs to the nearby beach for even more pet variety.

And if you want to use the XP you can get while working on this achievement to level an alt, there's a flight path and an inn right there (tent behind the drunken-looking mage). You'll need to be high enough to reach it the first time, of course, but there's a lot of XP between 85 and 90. Might as well knock some of it out at the same time.

Buying level 25 pets does not count toward the achievement

A fast way to level pets in Legion is when the world quest Angespannte Lage is up in Stormheim (only available to lvl 110 toons).

The quest requires you to beat two pet tamers, Andurs and Rydyr. They only have one epic pet each and are easy to defeat - you can see many tips on the pages dedicated to the quest and to the npcs, including tips on how to include a low-level pet.

You talk to the npcs to start the pet battle. Both of them have the chat bubble above their heads and when you defeat one of them, that chat bubble disappears and you can then only talk to the other. Thing is, if you log out after having defeated one of them, both chat bubbles are up again, and you can defeat the one you just defeated (or the other one) again. Rinse and repeat for endless experience for your levelling pet.

A levelling pet having lvl 6 (which barely survives the first hit from Baby Björn, Rydyr's pet, unless it crits), gets 1980 exp (with Safarihelm), which brought mine to level 10, so there's quite a lot of pet experience to be had. At level 23, there was 1232 experience granted (also with the Safari Hat).

Bring lots of Kampfhaustierbandage and as the pets are quite easy to defeat, you can rotate several pets in before you have to bandage.
