Don't be scared by the 7500 number. This is a Guild achievement, not an individual achievement.
This shouldn't take too long to achieve. Especially raiding guilds will race towards this number in no time.

This will likely reward the new ''Broiled Dragon Feast'' recipe of the 'Mists of Pandaria' Expansion

Actually, also for individual players, it is quite easy to obtain this achievement:

1) Buy 7,500 Instant Noodles from Jojo (Alliance) or Barleyflower. The price is 70s a piece, totalling up to 5,250g, or 4,725g with the guild perk Bartering.
2) Put on your Chef's Hat and start cooking those 7,500 Perfectly Cooked Instant Noodles. This is a recipe which you can learn from the Cooking trainer at Cooking skill 30.

Unlike in Cataclysm, where Set the Oven to "Cataclysmic" rewarded the recipe Recipe: Broiled Dragon Feast, this achievement does not unlock any recipes or perks. Therefore, it is for you to decide whether you think it is worth going for this achievement in above described manner. I know I will not, even though I created 5,000 South Island Ice Tea (costs only 400g worth of vendor mats and awards a recipe).

For anyone wondering, cooking a stack of five food (such as banquets or the highest quality individual buff foods, which can only be cooked in muliples of five) only gives credit for one item cooked, not five. A little annoying if you're in a tiny guild, as progress will be somewhat slower than you might hope for the amount of materials used.

So I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but right now on live my mage's conjure refreshment spell is counting towards this achievement. o.O

As of 6/19/13, this trick works.

For mages, you can fill your backpack with anything, so that the backpack is full, but make sure the first slot of your bag right next to the backpack is empty. write this script in a macro:

/script PickupContainerItem(1, 1) DeleteCursorItem()
/cast conjure refreshment

put the macro on number 1 of your action bar (or whichever hotkey you prefer. bang the snot out of that hotkey and watch the achiev roll the numbers. works for both cata and panda guild achievs (Get some chopsticks) and (Time to open a restaurant).

If you have a gaming keyboard with a macro button ability, set one of your buttons to tap "1" repeatedly. AFK achievement for the win! Make sure the first slot of your far right bag is empty, so your conjured food can drop into that slot, and make sure your backpack is loaded. Always a good idea to test the macro first to make sure you have everything set right. Also a good idea to not have anything super valuable in your bags on your first go at it to avoid accidental deleting of items.

I was working on both Get Some Chopsticks and Set The Oven To "Cataclysmic" and had the achievements tracked so I could see my progress. I decided to work on Get Some Chopsticks first, and was doing the noodle method. As I made noodles, the counters for both the Mists and the Cata achievements went up! Once I completed 5000 noodles, I got the Cata achievement. Kept going to 7500 and got the Mists achievement.

So you can do both achievements by focusing on Get Some Chopsticks it seems.

I was unable to get this achievement to advance no matter which MoP recipe I was cooking. However, whenever I would cook a Shadowlands recipe the counter would go up. Shadowlands recipes also advanced progress for the Time to Open a Restaurant guild achievement.
