Changes from 7.1 to 7.1.5
To start with, here are the major mechanical changes for Brewmasters that we got from 7.1.5.
Abilities & Talents:
now all deal 9% more damage / healing.
's range and width has been increased to a 12 yard cone, up from 8 yards.
and allows us to passively stagger more magic damage. A quick chart to find out your effective magic stagger can be found
has been buffed to grant up to 20% additional dodge and damage dealt, depending on stagger level, up from 15%.
has been buffed to increase gift of the ox spawns by up to 75%, up from 60%.
has been redesigned. It now reduces all damage taken by 20% to 50% for 10 seconds, with larger attacks being reduced more. This is before stagger.
has been nerfed to give 5% additional critical strike chance, down from 10%.
has been buffed to use 330% of the player's attack power for his attacks, up from 135%
has been redesigned. It is now a placeable AoE that pushes out all enemies who enter the ring for its 8 second duration.
no longer makes stagger work against magic at full effectiveness and now gives you up to 30% movement speed and 15% magical damage reduction based on your current level of Stagger.
no longer provides you with a shield and now allows you to stagger 30% of allies' damage taken for 15 seconds, provided they are within 15 yards of you. It has also switched spots with
and is now in row 5, column 2.
has been buffed to now have 50% of damage purified dealt to all enemies within 10 yards, up from 25%.
has been made into a passive effect instead of being a 45 second cooldown, with the caveat of passively doubling
now merely reduces
's cooldown by 50% instead of reducing it by 75% as well as its duration by 66%.
Changes from 7.1.5 to 7.2
Fu Zan has new empowered Artifact Traits! You acquire these after getting 35 ranks in Fu Zan and completing a small quest-chain. They are below.

- Increases damage dealt by 10%, Armor by 35%, and Stamina by 10%.

What makes Brewmaster Monk Special
Legion Tanking Overview
: A master of martial arts who excels in smoothing damage. A brewmaster is always prepared, using the resources they have on hand to decide how to survive.
: Energy, which is spent to generate Brews, a resource shared between their damage reduction abilities. Ox Orbs, which are a unique healing resource.

drops healing spheres around the monk, providing a strong heal when walked over. They can also use
to draw the

. Both of these will generate brew resources for active mitigation. You can also use

, which provides a flexible and frequently usable quick burst of movement.

, a particularly strong defensive ability on a long base cooldown, but can be greatly shortened through active play.
, a great tool to deal with damage on a long cooldown, but harder to time against instant abilities. Other options are available through talents.
. A staff topped by a swinging keg with a unique shoulder-resting animation.

: Easy to heal, best at smoothing damage (i.e. the damage they take is rarely bursty). Mobility.
Every race except for Goblin and Worgen can play a Monk.
Brewmasters can use Polearms, and Staves.
Iconic Brewmaster Monk abilities:
: Each time you are hit by a melee attack, you gain stacking 8% increased Dodge chance until your next successful Dodge. Also increases your attack power by 8%.
