Admiral Taylors Truhe befindet sich in Admiral Taylors Garnison in den Spitzen von Arak. Die Truhe ist leider verschlossen, daher benötigt ihr einen Schlüssel. Der Schlüssel befindet sich neben der Mine. Geht in die Garnison rein, in der Mitte folgt dem linken Weg am Hauptgebäude vorbei. Haltet euch dann wieder links in Richtung Mine. Links neben der Mine lehnt ein Skelett an einem Stein, auf diesem Stein liegt ein Alter Schlüssel. Nehmt diesen Schlüssel an euch und geht wieder zurück in die Garnison. Biegt an der Kreuzung links ab und geht ins Hauptgebäude rein. In dem großen Raum befindet sich Admiral Taylors Truhe, die ihr mit Alter Schlüssel aufmachen könnt. In der Truhe befindet sich Admiral Taylors Garnisonslogbuch.

This item relates to a hidden treasure at Admiral Taylor's Garrison in Spitzen von Arak.

The key is very small and located under the tree next to the abandoned mine. Opens Admiral Taylor's Coffer (tracked by Spitzen - Schatz 012 - Admiral Taylors Truhe) which contains a small amount of Garnisonsressourcen and Admiral Taylors Garnisonslogbuch. The Coffer is located in the Town Hall.

Admiral Taylor's Garrison Log

Day 0
Arrived on the coast with most of our gear intact. Finn assures me this is an ideal location. Harris and Claudia constantly bickering since that last arakkoa attack. Ephial is obsessing over "ley lines" (whatever they are.) Can't even agree on the date since we went through the portal - feels like autumn? I'm calling this day 0.

Day 2
About a dozen lumberjacks have disappeared. The one who made it back had a wasp stinger in his gut the length of my arm. Dumberlin and Ephial offered to go out with a war party and clear out the place. I dispatched them with a couple followers. We desperately need the lumber.

Day 4
Visit from Vindicator Maraad. He's pleased with our progress. Suggested that we send laborers to a draenei town called "Elodor" to acquire food. I turned him down - no way I'm sending my best people halfway across the world for some food. I've made other arrangements. That friendly Pandaren, Madam Goya, has offered cartloads of food at reasonable prices. Seems on the up-and-up.

Day 7
Iron Horde attack! Thank the light we've got our walls up. Dumberlin was an absolute beast during the attack. Lots of good men were lost, thought, many with wounds on their backs. Ephial missing for hours after attack, off to bury the dead. Work will resume tomorrow. Barracks nearly complete. Almost have enough resources for an armory.

Day 12
Sir Harris arrived in the town hall today with the Black Prince Wrathion in tow. Hard to tell who was the captive and who was the captor. Wrathion seeks asylum in my garrison, claims he did something to cheese off the ogres. Harris barked that Wrathion is a fugitive from the Alliance. Lady Claudia and her troops fanned out with guns drawn. Tense situation. Told Wrathion he was welcome as our "guest", provided he stayed under house arrest and full-time guard. Messages dispatched to the King. Black Dragon now ensconced in my garrison - what could go wrong?

Day 15
Barracks complete. Armory in progress. Huge shipment of resources arrived this morning - a "gift" from Wrathion to build us an inn. How does he do that? Went to speak with Wrathion and he told me to keep an eye on Ephial. I don't trust either of them.

Day 16
Took some of guards aside and offered them substantial hazard pay to maintain a 24-hour watch on Wrathion. They lowered their eyes and admitted that Wrathion was already paying them to keep an eye on ME. That son of a...

Day 21
Got a letter from Gurgthock inviting us to participate in the Ring of Blood. Potential to really show what the Alliance is capable of. Will shift the prize money to Goya. Set out with Harris and Claudia to "Win one for the Wrynn." Left Dunberlin in charge of security.

Day 25
Victorious! Harris can take a hell of a beating in the arena.

Day 27
Made it back. Chaos at the garrison. Goya's supplies never arrived. Dunberlin thought martial law was a good idea. He's taking orders from Ephial now. Wrathion nowhere to be found. Took some of my best followers with him. Time to roll up our sleeves and fix this.

That almost read as a good adventure story! I wished there were more pages to this, but soon realized that the bad ending happened very soon. Farewell Admiral Taylor!

This is a novelty item. If you have no use of it - it can be safely destroyed as it can't be sold to a vendor.

Ok if someone could please post a screen shot of this chest because either I am blind or its bugged on my end, because I have the key but it's still showing as an uncollected treasure on my map (addon that normally the items disappear once collected) Thank you

Key is found at (37, 56) next to a mine that is boarded up. The key is on top of the smallest rock located to the right of a tree which is found on your left if you are facing the boarded mine. Hope this helps. I also submitted a picture.

Anyone know how to set a script to play the haunting music played while in the garrison? I could stay there forever listening to it but it's too sad to stay with Admiral Taylor's ghost.

The music played in Admiral Taylor's Garrison is the same music that plays in Alliance towns in Outland (Burning Crusade) such as Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula, Allerian Stronghold in Terokkar Forest, and Wildhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley. It also plays in Odesyus' Landing on Azuremyst Isle in the Draenei starting zone and the Portal Clearing on the western edge of Marshlight Lake in western Zangarmarsh.

The song is called Honor Hold and is composed by Matt Uelman. It is on World of Warcraft: Mosaic Soundtrack that was available for purchase only during Blizzcon 2009. On Wowhead you can find it here, Zone-OutlandAllianceBase.

There are two parts, part one only plays in the four previously mentioned Alliance bases and outpost whereas the second part will play in both Alliance and Neutral bases.

For anyone who missed that, Madam Goya runs the black market. Totally sure her food is on the up-and-up, uh-huh.

I always found Taylor's garrison's story lacking:
Where did the necromancer come from?
Why did they turn into ghosts.

This log explains a lot but then brings up a few new questions
