I definitely was hoping to see some major changes in the holy paladin tree. Overall I like the 31 point trees, but my own holy paladin tree was a bit of a let down.
Everybody, remember that this trees are the very first ones with the new system. They are NOT final in any way. Think about it before &*!@#ing about the trees.
What happened to moonkin form?
i'm kinda liking it. it feels more smooth and easy to choose your talents if you don't know the class that well
you going to update what abilities are gained when you pick your primary path? you have a screen shot of the priests choices, but it would be nice to know the rest.
It's quite obvious it's a first pass. It needs more changes before I can say if I like it or hate it.
(First post ever! Exciting.) Liking the way the trees are looking. Hope that some of the talents change, some of the things look fairly... out of spec? Hard to describe. But anyway, glad to see the updates.
Furor gives 60% chance to generate 10 rage in bear form? Are u freaking kidding me? 60% chance? So it's based on luck... ? And 60 energy instead of 100 in cat form... hmm okaaaaay.... WTF... And no improved leader of the pack so i can't regen my mana while shapeshifted AND only 30% reduction of shapeshifts instead of todays 30% + 50 % on cat and bear form? Yaaaay TBC all over again when I went oom after 10 shapeshifts >.<
Look at the original blue post about the new talent trees - they specifically say paladins, druids, DKs, and still need major overhauls. I mean take the feral tree for example, there isn't even a talent that provides the required 6% crit reduction like all other tanking trees have. So obviously, a work in progress.Personally I am really liking this, I was on the fence at first but these new trees really won me over. Obviously some are in need of tweaking, but I got a really good feeling from filling out a few of them for fun.
Uhm looks boring..
There's a bug...If you spend all your talent points (fill up a tree and then put the extras in another tree), and then decide to remove some of those talents from the extra tree, you can't put them in the filled tree. It's like it's locked. And, for the 8 or so specs I play, I haven't found a single bit of "choice." We're still forced into cookie-cutter specs.
Ah well, not gonna QQ untill i have tryed it out (no beta yet :\\) But as a mage, 1 point on the Slow-talent to unlock Arcane Power feels abit odd to me. :s
Hmm....Retribution Paladin.....Dissapointed......Yup..Balance Druid....Awesome....Yup.And it looks like, given Arcane, we will see the revival of the fire mage.
i would like to change a lil cat form shapeshift to look more cooler and better:)
Do hope they add some more interesting choices to the druid trees. Currently you can just pick everything that increases your healing throughput in some way and you have your resto specc with no utility A vs utility B dilemmas. Same thing goes for the balance tree and pretty much cat and bear too.
This will definitely take some getting used to, but it looks effective.
