Lol, seems like a lot of people couldn't drive properly in DM.
I don't mind the slag's spawn timer being increased; now if they can just fix that random bug I got before in there, where 3 slags spawned at the same time 3 times in a row.
Ugh, if they'd fix the bug where they go through the floor. Still happening to me =/
THANK YOU for the Deadmines nerf. That boss always made PUGs wipe, and made me a sad panda.Honestly to me it wasn't exactly easy... I'd become overwhelmed most of the time; I'd start to panic, and start hitting the wrong buttons, or just sit there. >_o
Deadmines nerf isn't needed in my opinion, the fight was easy enough. :(Plus controlling the machine is easy and fun!
The slag I think is to counter a bug people had been having. Apparently sometimes the slags will spawn at the top of the ramp now and start wrecking face. Apparently they think its better to have him be more of a loot pinata than have this be a problem?
Deadmines nerf? BUT PRESSING THREE BUTTONS IS HARD, YO
Damn, that Subjugator/Animator trash became really hard to kill just from nowhere. At least now I know it was a hotfix...
This is the typical example of what is wrong with forum posters. "The Deadmines Nerf." They changed an encounter that had an annoying mechanic. Why is this a point of contention for you people? I know that -I- have been in multiple PuGs where I'm (Tank) standing at the top of the ramp spamming Party Chat with: "Someone take the robot." "Anyone? Someone get in and drive." "Will someone please get into the robot so we can do this?" "I can't do it, healer can't do it, will one of you three DPS get into the damn robot already?"And then finally someone gets in, doesn't understand what's going on, and we get overrun with adds. It's not "hard" and it's not at all "compelling." It's just annoying. So what's with the "Nerf wasn't needed" and all the sad-faces. Who cares! It's a stupid heroic instance and it's making it easier for the baddies that still run the place. It's not like they completely REMOVED the Slag mechanic, they just made it so that a mediocre player who's never done the controls before can now manage the adds a little more easily.
As a tank, I dread the Foe Reaper fight, because there's nothing I can do to prevent a wipe if the DPS assigned to the harvester isn't on his game. If you haven't wiped the Foe Reaper repeatedly as a tank or a healer, you're very lucky, because there are soooooo many DPS who get overwhelmed by 1, 1, 2 when two Molten Slags are out (as the spawn rate increases significantly near the end of the fight) or decide that they're not helping enough and start attacking the boss even though you drop a flag to stand on and explain that they shouldn't attack the boss at all. When I'm farming satchels, I get sent to the Foe Reaper fight more than any other heroic boss fight in the game (though Drahga Shadowburner is a close second because running away from things chasing you is just too difficult for some people sometimes).
