It was determined that AoE heals were causing input lag. This was most noticable and problematic in 25-man raids since the amount of lag got worse when more targets were in range. These changes are not really intended to be nerfs or buffs, but rather technical changes in order to help improve performance.See: Relevant blue post
So I'm guessing Ele shamans damage is staying like it is on live. I don't know how blizzard doesn't see that it's actually broken and OP. Several videos was sent aswell showing people getting 100-0'd just by letting the Ele shaman see you for 1 second. GG.

I don't understand why holy radiance is also getting capped, it's not an hot aoe like the other spells, it must feels like a big nerf as there will be less shields that's way. I would understand it if it was like the cataclysm holy radiance that left a 3 second hot

R.I.P. enh shammies. First patch of being decent since wotlk. You will be missed. Everything will have better burst, def cd's and utility <3 purge =outdated/lame/other classes have a purge with damage/sigh. Also forced to play with Elemental Blast sucks. The ability is ridiculously RNG in damage and I don't like it giving me random buffs/lame. 2/4 piece pvp bonus sucks too btw Blizzard.

So the legendary meta gems remain usable in Siege of Orgrimmar raid gear? Or are those changes simply while still using them and fishing for an upgrade?
