The whole progression thing in LFR was just throwing people for a loop.. everyone was confused! This should help a lot make it feel more like a normal raid. I understood what Blizzard was originally trying to do.. but when you had 12 people kill 2 bosses the first night, then come back the next night with the same 12 people plus just 1 more... and the first two bosses be up again? was a bit strange.I think they were originally thinking most groups would clear a wing in one night.
"Landing a killing blow with Shadow Word: Death should no longer incorrectly grant 2 Shadow Orbs."damn.. I almost hoped they wouldn't notice this happening :')
just change the Shaohao rep gain system already. :D
I still think the Shaohao rep grind is a punishment to all the people who whine about dailies, even when they're done awesomely (see: 5.1 rep grinds). Shaohao harkens back to such vanilla rep grinds as the Timbermaw and Steamwheedle Cartel. You want a return to those days? I sure don't. I mean, don't get me wrong -- I actually like having a variety of different types of rep grinds. But dailies are by far more tolerable, and, if you break them down into kills per rep point, a lot less total work.
I honestly am not a fan of the whole "kill a bunch of crap" thing in general, whether it's turned into bite-sized bits through dailies or well...stuff like this....If only because it shows a significant lack of innovation, etc.
