Thanks for the guide! :)
k nps, good guild tho tyvm
Perculia, thanks so much for this and all the other updated guides throughout the year, they have made these events easy and enjoyable. I was nervous when I checked here a half hour ago and didn't see a guide, but of course here it is, thanks so much!
Thanks! We get them updated on /guides in advance so EU players have something to use, but I tend to put them on the frontpage when they go live in the US.
Thanks for these Perculia! :)
There is one tiny mistake in counting of Brandblüte you can get from honoring and extinguishing flames. Some areas in Cataclysm and Pandaria have only one flame in zone that can be honored by both factions. They give 15 Brandblüte instead of 5. Number of such zones is 9. So it is +90 Brandblüte to the maximum.
The bonfires in the Blasted Lands are either gone or moved now.
Was just about to post that myself. This makes the achievement unattainable if you are trying to do it on a toon past level 90.
the stealing the flames quest (for enemy cities) seems to have not reset this year.
For those missing the Blasted Lands bonfires, from the guide:
sad the backs arnt 650 ilvl cuz of were we are at in the xpac :(
I highly recommend using this addon to get Brandblüte:HandyNotes - (Required To Get The Other To Work)HandyNotes - Summer Festival
I was looking for this info and couldn't find it, so I queued and here's what I saw:Ahune is now a level 100 elite. His Frozen Core has 4.2 million health and his adds are level 100. The big adds hit plate for about 35k and the little ones for about 6k, so while the healer can't just totally AFK in the back like in 2014, it's still pretty easy, especially if the tank is good about picking up adds. There seems to be a bug this year where even if you kill the Frozen Core, Ahune will emerge again anyway with about 50k HP. If you ignore the new add spawns and just focus him down, you can end the fight without waiting for another submerge phase.
For anybody interested, Blazing Cindercrawler is originally uncommon (green) quality and always comes in P/P breed.
Thank you so much, didn't know this NPC was there :)
If you are looking for a stand alone add-on to track your progress of collecting the Brandblüte , you can use Candy Buckets. It indicates icons on the map for each type of bonfire (honor and desecrate) and another one of the benefits that it provides is that it removes the tracking icons from each character's map as they find them. This particular add-on is also coded to be used for Hallow's End and Lunar Festival.
for blasted land use Zidormi speak to to be phased. and see the bonfire in nethergarde keep for the extinguishing eastern kingdoms achievement
