"We’re reaching the point of development where nearly all of the new content and features in Patch 7.2 are in-game and testable." Improvements on obtaining RNG legendaries where...? Some people still get no BIS among 6+ legendaries and Blizzard told us to be patient and wait for the big announcement and now... nothing?
There are tokens that have a chance to contain a legendary item (presumably for that specific item slot, whether it be helm, bracers, boots, etc. and for your current loot specialization).
How do you gain those tokens?
Reminds me of the four bosses of Tanaan. Deathtalon and Terrorfist and the rest.

Thats cool, makes it alot more alt friendly as I really don't want to run a 4th character through mythic plus and raiding.
You still using UInt32 for trait cost, so it limited by 4.2 billion, when real cost can reach 13000 billion.
if we follow same of WoD baleful and MoP timeless, they should be sold for a decent price of the new currency or has a chance to drop from broken shore mobs (the more difficult / elite the higher chance off course)
Can someone guess / find the ilevel of the token gear?
I sure hope AK modifiers are wrong and will be changed to better rounded values 49900% for 500* (instead of 50100% for 502*) and so onEspecially as AP needed for upgrade are still divisible by 5000
All the RNG makes me want to leave the game. This from someone who spent 7 years killing Anzu till the mount finally dropped. Every day after work or school for 7 freaking years. Yeah I am sick of RNG. I would rather be able to measure my progress via currency or time given and definitely get things, even if it takes a while. Like if there was an argent tournament style thing again I would do it. Happily. Instead of any RNG content. RNG isn't even compelling and the joy from getting the drops I want evaporated years ago to be replaced with, "Ugh omg Im so glad I don't have to kill this thing anymore..."All the legendary stuff has totally devalued them for me too, idk about anyone else. They don't feel legendary whatsoever when there are so many of them all over the place. One of the few RNG examples I don't mind are curious coins, juat as an example, simply due to their nature and what they are used for. Still, increased drop rate for them so I can see them on a more regular basis is far more enjoyable.
Those relinquished items seem interesting. Technically, it removes a pass of randomness (or most of it anyways) in favor of grinding for currency if it works the way I think it does. Not the way I'd implement it but I guess bringing in what looks like the gamble feature from Diablo is okay.Edit: Actually, since the system seems so similar to Baleful, I wonder if these can be obtained in other ways.
.....telling Todd he fails as a player because he couldn't time his BDDPS during his process is much better than telling him he needs more gear. We need more RNG, it makes everything better.
