Nice write up, you might want to note that doing the weekly Argus quests help boost your reputation with both of those factions by 2k. That is quite a bit.
"Won't take you long".Why T-T
Anyways, I'm really excited to create my void elf when I'm done grinding the rep. I already created my pretty nightborne!
Since people used to gain stuff almost for no work, like lfr and *!@#, they got mad, cos they ACTUALLY NEED TO WORK, to get stuff (omg YOU NEED TO WORK TO EARN SOMETHING). X+Y Trilling posts about people crying , cos blizzard didn't give them something, which they claim they should have access asap. All the preorder stuff is for players who play Legion since release, who bored until BfA, thats why Blizz gave them content until BfA.So continue crying on x+y posts, blizzard not gonna change that you can bet your tears on it.Many gonna hate me for this post, but this is just the reality I wrote down.Peace.
Nice guide, Blizz! And indeed, it doesn't take all that long if people just would quit focusing on the amount needed and just play the game. I managed to get my Argus Reps to exalted before they made it easier thanks to those class hall missions and doing both weekly quests each week (which doesn't that long to do) along with the emmi chests. Getting rep is not as big a chore as people make it out to be.
Garbage. Luckily I already grinded it out. Argus has some of the worst level design in any video game ever created. Blizzard should be ashamed to send anyone there. Anyway, I'm sure the WoWhead LFR heroes will be going on about "you didn't earn it!" as they pull 600k with their titanforged relinquished and LFR gearAlso, lol at "hurrr just play da gaem" it took me 3-4 weeks grinding void elf rep because there's a whopping 4 WQs per day that give a pathetic 75 rep.
It isn't work, its a grind. A gated, slow as all unholy *!@# and boring beyond belief, grind. Rep grinding has never been good content, yet blizzard keeps gating content behind it.Working for something? Not even an issue. But I have been playing for several months after a hiatus - I have hit exalted with both the races available for horde, because I was most of the way there from grinding up flying, but I am still a way off from the alliance races (who had the bright idea to make BOTH the alliance races significantly harder to farm rep for?) It takes too long. Rep was bearable when you could grind it in dungeons at a decent rate, or could hand in items to get the rep faster outside of daily/weekly quests, but legion rep has been nothing short of a chore and anyone that defends having a CHORE as part of the game is an idiot, put simply.
I really didnt have much of an issue, I knew this was coming, and i started working on the stuff. I came back to WoW in November, so some people had it a lot longer than me. I did have to grind out a bit of highmountain last night, because I was 2k away from exalted. No biggie, I had previously worked on nightborne, and once I had gained good suramaritan kinda gave up on them.. until I started to like the look a little better, and finished up insurrection pretty quickly
Not sure why there is so much whining about this. This isn't news. People have known the requirements for quite a while now.Honestly, it's not that hard to get the reps. Especially AotL and AR reps. Highmountain rep was fairly easy too. Now Nightborne, that's another story for me. But, I personally absolutely hated the entire storyline.
I want to be mad about not having the replay yet, but blizz and wow head were both in my feed telling me time and again to complete the requirements now... I can only blame myself but it's gonna feel really good to roll my void elf
One more thing I have been noticing is that a lot of people seem to be hyper-focused on the rep as their only current reason to play (ie; doing things that earn them rep) and twiddle their thumbs otherwise once they've gotten those things done for the moment. I'll admit, that sounds rather boring. Thus why I advised to stop being so focused on the rep gain desired and just play the game, do what gives rep, and then go do something else (be it something else in WoW or a different game) and it'll be a lot better experience imo.
I've gotten exalted with the required factions but I still get don't get how grinding world quests to get exalted equates to experiencing the story or getting to know the allied races, the exalted requirement is just there to get people to keep playing the game, since by the time you've gotten exalted you're already way past doing the story lines. I feel that a revered requirement would have made the experience little less tedious.
Yay! More stupid retarded boring grind just to get things im paying for. "Just play the game" my ass, i want to play the game, i want to play my void elf, but no, i need to grind for 2 weeks just to get new races. The simple solution was to let people farm if they want and earn races WITHOUT pre-order, or just to let them pay and get everything straight away. I dont care about earning stuff, im playing wow for 4-5 months in every expansion coz of nostalgia and whats it, i love to level up characters for a bit, walk around, do couple of dungeons on my main, and now i need to f****** grind to even get expansion content! Amazing!
People seem to want everything for nothing nowadays. No amount of @#$%^ing will cure your lazyness. It's an MMO their is grind, get over it or play a single player game.
Do you need ot have the reputation on the char/account you go for the race for, or is having it Exalted on any char on your Battle.net enough?
