Bring back Gladiator Stance!Edit: TL;DR Arms is the only one that's really been worked on right now.
Haven't warriors had it good for most of Legion?
Only time will tell, I plan on making a Zandalari Warrior but won't bother if their rotation is bland like Legion Marksmanship Hunters.
Why does Blizz hate prot warriors?
Fury has changed almost 0 same game play as legion which is just lame to me only thing that REALLY changed so far is losing the artifact in the pvp rotation which is bad i really hope they rework fury so its fun and i have been playing fury for over 10 years pvp i dont leave it for arms
Real question is, can I play Fury and ditch the stupid Titan's Grip and go back to what I was doing for years prior: one handers.
Revert fury to what it used to be back on WoD. I HATE Legion Fury =( I've been playing Fury for several years on my main character, but I simply can't play it Legion. Had to change my main character since ever because of that -.-'
I want my Gladiator Stance back.
Too early! You've released your opinions to early! Tldr: Wait for Beta.
My friends need a tank and since I'm a die-hard warrior, I was considering (grudgingly) switching to prot.Guess I won't.Really great article though, nice to see a centralized place for community feedback!
I really enjoyed playing the Patch 7.0 Protection Warrior. Although I wasn't able to get significant play time in until about 60 days into Legion's release, once work slowed down for me, I really sunk my teeth into the Legion content. I very quickly got caught up with my guild, and into the main tank position, Heroic raiding, and higher Mythic plus keystone runs. I really felt empowered as a Tank with the Prot Warrior tool kit, and I felt like the skill cap was quite high too. I'm very experienced with World of Warcraft, and being the main tank, so I truly had a blast with my tanking role in Legion. Even once I was supremely confident in my ability to play the Legion Protection Warrior, I could always see areas where I could have done things better, or perhaps just differently and to a different effect. The big changes in 7.1.5 to the Protection Warrior design was a really disturbing experience. After having put so much time into Protection, suddenly seeing the play style change in a signifiacnt way - many months into the expansion, was not my idea of a fun time. Once 7.1.5 was released, like every other Prot Warrior, I adapted Devestator into my play style, and pressed forward. While Devestator eliminated the need to spam Devestate, to me personally - it just never really felt natural to the Prot Warrior play style that I have known. Honestly, I felt like the whole thing was a waste of time. It wouldn't have made much of a difference if Blizzard had just left the 7.0 Prot Warrior alone for the rest of the expansion. I still have no idea what the point of the changes even accomplished. I had never actually planned to stop playing, but I ended up quiting playing altogether 14-15 months ago for a variety of different reasons. Anyways, beyond that, I really don't have much to contribute in ways of the Warrior discussion. I am disappointed to see the play style is being slowed down significantly, and I am concerned about the gaps in defenses with the way the cooldowns are being tuned. I'm tired of seeing the constant remastering of classes and specs. It truly baffles me that in 15 years of development, they still can't nail down the play style for the Warrior. I'm absolutely all for seeing new and interesting additions, I simply don't get the need to reinvent the wheel every 2 years, or what it accomplishes beyond frustrating players to no end. However, I don't pretend to speak for everyone, only myself. I really hope to see the Warrior as a class find some stable ground to be built upon instead of the volatile development that always seems to follow. I want that for all classes, and I hope some day we see less volatility in class development.
Blizzard needs to give fury warriors 1h dual wield back.. 2h is boring, I hate it.. I can't play fury warrior anymore because of that. I hate Titan's Grip, I don't care if it's like a fury warrior signature thing. I don't like it and I don't want to play with it, I want to be able to choose. Making me play with something I don't like or "use another spec" is wrong... Very very wrong.BRING 1H DUAL WIELD AGAIN, PLEASE!
Two handed is too slow. I would love to have the old one handed fury back, fury should be about speed and arms about slow hard hitting attacks.
We need Gladiator back to add some flavor in the class, but as an actual spec and not just a prot stance. Warrior looks extremely boring in BfA with these changes. Prot slower than it already is... what a pain to play.
Now is the time to voice concerns as to how the core of the spec(s) feels, not in beta.
Prot warrior is supposed to be block tank, not absorb bs! Just remove Ignore Pain from this micky mouse game and stop cocking prot warriors!
Gladiator Stance or riot! I don't care if it's just a spec again or a full specialization, I just enjoyed Gladiator Stance so much, and its removal killed Warriors for me, despite being a Warrior main from Vanilla to WoD, played DK in Legion but want to be Zandalari so will be switching, considering returning to Warrior (Gladiator would confirm the return).
