It seems more like Rommath wanted the Void elves gone and Lor'themar fell in line, maybe he felt threatened by Umbric? I feel like you can make the claim the Void Elves are following in Darkhan's footsteps, though we'd just be splitting hairs. They won't be crafting any scourge but certainly they've dug deeper than Darkhan. The Ren'dorei will always feel a little confusing because they haven't really been fleshed out and they really could have just gone next door to Undercity and have been totally fine and accepted to pursue their research. Lor'themar has a lot of respect for Sylvanas, this is clear in Siege of Orgrimmar. The dichotomy of Light and Dark is falling away especially after Argus. Some could make the case that Velen is a traitor to the Light because of how he decided to forge his own path due to Illidan. The traitor remark for Lor'themar then seems a little hollow.Evil is subjective. Both factions encompass a large diversity of different groups with different mores, codes, and creeds. As such, there will be a mix of seemingly abhorrent and altruistic behavior. The main point: war isn't pretty.
I am really happy to be part of this. Be it fiction or something more. It is really cool how sparked a lot of ppl are about this. Damn I'm hyped. :)
For the heaven's sake... I want to play Horde, not a Scourge. There are kilometers of text about morality, war crimes and other unfashionable notions, but I must say more. Main Horde races have strong ideas of honour. It's a basic of orcs' culture, trolls and taurens also respect it. Bwonsamdi, loa of Darkspear, doesn't approve undead. Taurens revere life, but being undead — not being live, it's a violation of laws of nature (somebody is born, grows, breeds and dies — that's all) — basic of taurens' beliefs.I don't want a queen. I want a warchief. A true Horde warchief who knows what is honour for his (unlikely "her", there's lack of Horde non-elven women who shows herself before) people. Also, I laugh at Blizzard words: "She isn't evil". I can't remember when mockeries of other, deals with potential evil and warmongering became features of a good character. For them who wanna cry that I'm an arrogant little Alliance fanboy: I play both factions. They are different, but each has some attractive sides. Or... had. If Horde won't get rid of this pathetic Lich Queen, it will lose everything (except almost decayed breasts and smeared mascara from a BfA cinematic).
Completely ignoring the debate over who fired the first shot, I just hate to see Blizzard destroy two iconic locations where a lot of players first started years ago. I felt that way when Cataclysm launched, and I feel it now. I wish they would leave the older locations alone, so that something in the game remains historic.
what i find funny is that there was an enormous uproar when the horde attacked human civilians but no one cares about the horde civiliansin the end we as humans really only care about humans (even pixels), the rest is "roleplay flavor"
