Anyone find where to start this chain of quest?

It said on the pre-launch page that it was supposed to be in TB (thunderbluff) but i have yet to see it.

My best guess it that they will start the quest up a few weeks before the release of patch 4.0.3, much like the Echo Isle/OpGnome events before 4.0.1.

Yo, just thought i'd let you know, the NPC you need is found in Undercity. Opposite side to the Flight Master, but on the same level :)

this quest is available from Earthen Ring Emissaries found in Darnassus, The Exodar, Ironforge, Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff, and Undercity.

this quest is an optional leader to quests in Stormwind and Orgrimmar; you can get the next quest from Stormwind or Orgimmar without doing this quest first.

and please... do not ask where the npcs are, in each city; you'll just sound blind/stupid. turn on tracking for low-level quests if you want to, but the NPCs for this quest (and the next one) are in plain sight to anyone entering the city.

The Quest Chain starts with "Hammering It Out", which seems to be a random spawn.

false. the quest you're referring to is a daily quest which becomes available when you click on a Mysterious Device. it doesn't start a chain, and it's not random.

you can only get the quest from the Device after killing a number of elementals (12 or less), and only if the zone is level-appropriate to you. so if the elementals are gray to you, you won't be able to get the daily.

this quest, on the other hand, is part of a chain.

and all of these quests are only available during the Elemental Invasion pre-Cataclysm event. hope that helps clarify.

Breadcrumb quest during the Elemental Invasion Event. Becomes unavialable, if you completed The Situation So Far quest (which is a follow up quest) before taking this one.
