All the pets can be found in the main village. This is a very fast quest if you have stealth. I suggest not doing it before 36-7 due to high amounts of mobs in tight spaces.

If you have activated to show "Npc names", the pets are displayed with green names, and the guards with red, making it very easy to find.

There is no followup.

Mobs can be found inside of cages at 62,22 at Fallow Sanctuary.

Can also go well with http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1389 The crystals are in the same area.

Tarantula is at 62, 23
Jaguar is at 65, 22
Crocolisk is at 60, 22

Pretty tricky doing this as a 42 warlock, so I'd advise being atleast level 40.

The mobs around here spawn very quickly, especially Ongeku.

The cords are correct for the quest. If you go to the swamp side and do the Jag and spidy first you can pull mobs one at a time.
The Croc is a little harder account of a few more mobs but can be solo'd. The croc can be found at the end of the road, just clear mobs as you go in. Did as a 38 Hunter. Cleared as I went in sent pet in to get Agro ran up to croc cage fed it and got out.

Agree...did it as a 42 Warlock with Succubus pet for Seduce. It's a pain in the butt when the mobs are green...you have to be super patient at a lower level, I'd think, or have a group.

Managed to solo it as lvl 36 Retri Pala, with no new skills since lvl 32. Though, it was pretty damn hard and I died like twice.

It's best to do this simultaneously with Galen's Escape. Galen can tank and does pretty decent damage, making it easier to clear a path to the animals.

Also, "Added in patch 3.3.0.10772"? BULLCRAP, this was added in Burning Crusade.

I'm perfecting a weapon to use against the draenei and you're going to help me!

The Lost Ones are the backward cousins of the draenei, and I've been experimenting on them. I just need you to feed some fel-tainted morsels to their captured livestock. In turn, when they slaughter and eat the animals, they'll be cursed! That'll show that stuffy Anchorite Avuun at the Harborage!

Go now, hurry! You'll find the Lost Ones and their caged animals to the northeast at the Fallow Sanctuary.
