TL;DR on Emerald Dream Events
Here's a quick summary of the events if you aren't interested in details:
Superblooms
are the main weekly event in the Emerald Dream and happen every hour. Superblooms last for 20 minutes initially but can be shortened down to ~12 minutes, depending on event progression.
They give ilvl441 Explorer 1/8 gear, 1000 Dream Wardens reputation, and an Epic-quality Dreamseed used for Emerald Bounties on the first completion of the week.
Subsequent completions grant 50 Dream Wardens reputation and Rare-Quality Dreamseeds for Emerald Bounties.
Emerald Frenzy
happens right after a Superbloom ends, and lasts for 10 minutes. Mobs in an area are empowered, kill them for Emerald Bounty currency.
Emerald Bounties
are non-timed events in which you're required to plant Dreamseeds and tend to them for 3 minutes. You earn Dreamseeds by completing activities in the Emerald Dream and tend to them by using currency gained during Emerald Frenzies and the Bounty itself.
Emerald Bounties can drop pets and mounts, as well as a currency used to purchase cosmetic items.
Superblooms
Superblooms are a new world event that happens every hour on the top of the hour in the Emerald Dream. During a Superbloom, you're tasked with helping the ancient
Fichtenkrone
sprout life around Amirdrasil!
Through a Superbloom, Sprucecrown will roam around Amirdrassil, and you will be able to complete tasks to gain
Bloom
. The event is divided in 4 steps that last 5 minutes each.
Through all 4 steps
of the event, you can gain Bloom by rescuing Dream critters or defeating Flame-Touched visions that spawn around Sprucecrown as he walks around Amirdrassil,
Step 1
: Water Lillies to gain extra Bloom for 5 minutes.
Step 2
: Defeat waves of Primalist mobs for 5 minutes.
This step can be shortened by killing enough Primalists.
Step 3
: Pull weeds off the ground to gain extra Bloom for 5 minutes.
Step 4
: Defeat waves of Primalist mobs for 5 minutes. If enough mobs are killed, the Primalist leader,
Marikke
, will spawn for extra loot. The event ends once the last 5 minutes have elapsed, or Marikke is spawned and killed.
Completion of the first Superbloom of the week will award the following items.
This was completed at Common Bloom quality, so you will likely receive extra rewards as you earn more Bloom:
1000 Dream Wardens reputation;
A ilvl441, 1/8 Veteran piece of gear;
15
Flugsteine
;
A
Gigantische Traumsaat
, used in Emerald Bounty events (listed below).
Subsequent Superbloom completions awards 50 Dream Wardens reputation, Flightstones and lesser quality Dreamseeds -
Pralle Traumsaat
on subsequent completions.
Emerald Frenzies
Emerald Frenzies are a mini-event that happens right after a Superbloom ends. Emerald Frenzy lasts for 10 minutes and while a Frenzy is active, mobs in the area will become empowered. Frenzies are the best source for two items:
Smaragdgrüner Tautropfen
, a currency used to feed Emerald Bounties (explained below);
Schlummerndes Traumfragment
- 5 Dream Fragments are used to create
Erneuerter Traum
, a chest that can contain Emerald Dream recipes, ilvl 421 Dragonflight S3 Explorer 3/8 gear, and Dreamseeds.
Emerald Bounties
Emerald Bounties are another mini-event in the Emerald Dream, but these are not timed like Superblooms or Emerald Frenzies. Emerald Bounties are triggered once you plant any dreamseeds at Emerald Bounty mud piles located around the Emerald Dream. Emerald Bounty locations can be seen on the minimap while in the Emerald Dream.
There are three types of Dreamseeds that you can receive, from Dream Wardens renown to completing activities in the Emerald Dream:
Kleine Traumsaat
,
Pralle Traumsaat
(which can award Battle Pets) and
Gigantische Traumsaat
(which can award mounts). It is currently unknown what pets or mounts can be rewarded from these seeds.
Once you plant a Dreamseed, you will have 3 minutes to contribute
Smaragdgrüner Tautropfen
to fully grow the seed - A total of 500
Smaragdgrüner Tautropfen
is required to fully grow any Dreamseeds. While the growth cycle is going, you are able to earn additional Emerald Dewdrops by stepping on destructive critters, pulling out weeds or killing overgrown lashers around the Bounty area.
Once 3 minutes have elapsed, a bounty bag will drop near the grown Sapling. This bounty will contain
Saatblüte
, used to purchase cosmetic items, profession materials,
Flugsteine
and a chance at gear.
