edit, i am trying the strat posted above with much higher level followers so i am hopeful it will work. i will try to report back.

For the Venthyr, this worked for me:

Rahel (33) - Stonehead (34) - Nadjia (35)
Kaletar (35) - Theotar (33)

Rahel and Stonehead died, but that's it.

For Night Fae it is still possible to win this when underleveled (even after the Ardenweald Trapper nerf/bugfix).
I recieved the mission with level 40 and my median level is 32, I won using this setup:

Kota (32) - Korayn (32) - Yira'lya (32)
Dreamweaver (32) - Niya (32)

Worked for me. *edit* I should mention that my Pelagos was the only one to survive with 261 HP so it WAS close, but for lower level it did work.
