No Falling Damage with Dredger Barrow Racer Toy
04.03.2021 um 15:17
During the world quest
Renntag in den Bollwerken!
, you can purchase a
toy for 0
if you've completed the
achievement, which involves winning the race 10 times. You can only run this once per World Quest, so it will take awhile to do.
Once earned, you can use this toy on any of your characters. You can use this (almost) anywhere, not just for the race!
Wheelbarrow Racing: Not just for Revendreth anymore!
runs at 185% speed, so there is no advantage to using it over your ground mount. You start it up by using the
extra action button, and when you do, you're off and running! Literally -- you can't stop, interact with anyone or anything, or do anything but run around in your dredger-driven wheelbarrow until you run out of time (10 minutes), exit, or get knocked out of the wheelbarrow by taking damage from a hostile mob. When you're ejected from the wheelbarrow, either by being forcibly dismounted by a hostile mob or by exiting, you are thrown forward and suffer a brief (1 second) stun.
Gentlefolk, start your dredgers!
You can use
any Shadowlands Covenant outdoor zone
in some indoor areas inside Covenant zones, such in areas of your Sanctum where you can't normally mount
does not work in:
anywhere outside of Shadowlands
any dungeon, whether you can normally mount or not
The Maw or Torghast
has a 1-hour cooldown and is limited to characters 48 and above.
So what makes it interesting? When you are using it,
you take no falling damage!
You can't use it midfall like the
, but if you know you want to go off a high cliff to get somewhere, you can do so using the
. I tested this on a few fatally long falls and took no damage whatsoever.
While it's mostly just a fun way to get around, it can have a use if you're planning to take a wild ride off a very high cliff!
