With Mythic Queen Azshara defeated this weekend and hundreds of thousands of viewers tuning into the Mythic Race, we wanted to highlight Nobbel's Story of the Eternal Palace. Learn about the lore of Battle for Azeroth's latest raid in Nobbel's video!
We have also transcribed the video below and added links to notable Wowhead quests and guides that depict the story.
You may also want to check out the
Story of Nazjatar
video which details the events of Rise of Azshara before the raid opens, as well as our
Eternal Palace Overview
.
Abyssal Commander Sivara
Hello everyone! The Horde and Alliance, while trying to kill one another, ended up in Nazjatar. Queen Azshara has us in her clutches with death waiting all around us. Eventually the factions realise that it’s beter to turn their weapons away from one another and focus on the threat of Azshara herself. Together we managed to break the barrier and gain entry into the Eternal Palace while the queen doesn’t seem too worried about it.
“You can’t stop us, Azshara. We are coming to end your reign.”
‘Stop you, my dear child why would I want to stop you? Consider this a formal invitation. My palace has been made ready. Your presence is eagerly anticipated. So many wonders lie in store. Such...magnificence...”
When the waters claimed her and the Highborne, they entered the deal with N’Zoth. They’ve spent millennia of brutal conquest to built themselves a new empire. Both the exterior and the inside of the palace looks gorgeous, and it is here where she holds dominion over the depths that once threatened to claim her. Side by side, Lor’themar, Thalyssra, Jaina, and Shandris lead our forces to the Dais of Eternity where our first obstacle awaits...Abyssal Commander Sivara.
A master of both martial and magical arts, Abyssal Commander Sivara has ruthlessly led Azshara’s vanguard to countless victories. She popped up during our questing in Nazjatar where we found out that before her transformation, she was Thalyssra’s most gifted student. The arcanist recommended her to enroll into the Royal Academy which pushed her right into the hands of Azshara. The fight is all about what debuff she puts on you, stand with those that get the same color. Mixing it up will cause your raid to take more damage, but at the same time it also stacks and deals more damage to you so sometimes you’ll want to mix it up just to drop the stack. A nice easy fight to start with.
“It is good you survived. I would hate for our gathering to end prematurely.”
“Enough of these games Azshara. Face us!”
“Patience little one. We will be together soon enough.”
“Ashvane means to hold us at bay. But I can sense fonds of magic nearby that are feeing into this room. If we disrupt the flow of those channels, Ashvane’s barrier will fall.”
Sivara was Thalyssra's most gifted student, convincing her to enroll in The Royal Academy. which unintentionally pushed her right into the hands of Azshara. In a
side questline
, Thalyssra learns what happens to Sivara in a Zin-Azshari flashback. This quest starts from
Stadt der ertrunkenen Freunde
, given by Shandris or Thalyssra at 73.5 47.9.
Abyssal Commander Sivara is a single phase encounter which requires the raid to avoid certain damaging abilities depending on the marks they are given at the beginning of the fight. Good player awareness and quick reaction times are needed to bring down the Abyssal Commander Sivara! Learn how to defeat this boss in the

Radiance of Azshara
So to get to Ashvane and open a way further into the palace, we’ll need to get the barrier down. In order to do that, well need to kill the other bosses. We were planning to do that anyways so our team decided to head on over to the Font of Radiance where the queen herself is in the middle of a ritual.
“The ritual has begun! We all have our parts to play. Isn’t that so, my child?”
“Yes, my queen. I sacrifice all that I am to serve you!”
“Gaze upon true devotion, landwalkers! BEhold, the rage of a queen.”
“Strike that monstrosity down champions. We must stop the flow of energy from this chamber.”
Another Wrath of Azshara creature has been summoned through sacrificing her loyal handmaiden Szali’ra. The Highborne might have been loyal to Azshara in life, but these naga take their loyalty a step further.
Tornados sweep around the battlefield ready to throw any unaware adventurer into the painful waters. Arcane bombs and squal traps are tossed around the field. A mighty storm is summoned by the big Stormwraith. With the wraith dead the storm disappears and you can focus on the radiance once more.
“My...life...for Azshara...”
“Well done. Now to find the last font and destroy it. The sooner we do so, the better our chances of foiling Azshara’s mad scheme.”
Radiance of Azshara is the second or third boss in Azshara's Eternal Palace, found in The Grand Reception wing.
Technik: Glyphe 'Finstere Tiefe'
is a notable drop from the boss.

Previously in Legion we faced the
Azsharas Zorn
, a boss in the dungeon Eye of Azshara, known for the aggressive seagulls in Mythic+. Wrath of Azshara is a large boss with a large hitbox. Due to the heavy-movement nature of the fight, it is important for players all to stay within range of the healer. Melee DPS should attack from the boss's side, not the back, so that the healer can reach both the tank and the melee. Details on how to defeat this boss and related trash in the

.
Blackwater Behemoth
It’s time for a swim because what would an underwater raid be without getting our feet wet? Drowning won’t be a problem as an oxygen-rich membrane is provided for this fight. However, healing might be a bit tricky as not even our healing light can reach us in these darkest of depths. That’s where the Shimmerskin Pufferfish come in. When they die, they splooge out a bioluminescent cloud which makes you light up, lets you be healed again, but also makes you a target for the creatures of the deep. Staying above an open chasm for too long will turn any brave adventurer into a tasty snack real quick so make sure not to linger over these chasms. That’s just the environment, not even the Blackwater Behemoth boss itself. Summoned from depths unknown, the Blackwater Behemoth lurks in an abyss so dark that not even the naga dare to venture into it. Only Azshara is capable of taming the beast, and she has trained it to faithfully guard her treasures.
In the dark we must stay luminescent to be able to get healed while the Behemoth sometimes switches caves and tries to cast an instant deathspell. It's up to us to ride the slipstreams, not get eaten by what’s down below, avoid the jellyfish, and bring the beasty down.
“Well done! Now to find the last font and destroy it. The sooner we do so, the better our chances of foiling Azshara’s mad scheme.”
“The barrier has fallen! Let us see how brave Ashvane is without a magical shield to protect her.”
Blackwater Behemoth, an underwater encounter, is the second or third boss of Azshara's Eternal Palace, found in The Grand Reception wing. A notable drop is the
Geistloser Blutfrenzy
battle pet.

If you're interested in other underwater zones, check out the controversial leveling zone of
Vashj'ir
, added in Cataclysm. Players receive underwater breathing, swim speed buffs, and eventually a sea horse mount early on in questing to make transportation easier. Players learn about the history of the Highborne, as this city was home to Lady Vashj before the Sundering, as well as the threat of Ozumat, culminating in a battle between Neptulon and the naga.
This zone was originally intended to have further dungeons and quest hubs in 4.2, but that was dropped in favor of developing Firelands and the Molten Front.
Kelp'thar Forest
is the first subzone players reach when questing in Vashj'ir. It has tropical underwater life and is closer to the surface than other subzones. Quests introduce the threat of the naga while also reacquainting the player with stranded members of the Zul'Aman exploratory crew.
The
Shimmering Expanse
is the second subzone of Vashj'ir. It contains
Der Irdene Ring
quartermaster in Silver Tide Hollow, the only flight points in the zone, and tons of
Azsharas Schleier
. In this section, players learn about the highborne's past and the threat of the naga through the eyes of Battlemaidens.
Poseidus
, who drops
Zügel von Poseidus
, is mostly likely to spawn in this subzone too.
Abyssal Depths
is the last, and darkest zone, players reach when questing in Vashj'ir. They are home to the ancient god L'ghorek, which the Twilight Hammer is siphoning energy from to be prepared when fighting Neptulon in the future.
Lady Ashvane
“We had a deal Azshara! Give me the power you promised.”
“Oh, I intend to. I merely wanted our guests to bear witness to your glorious ascension.”
“No! Not like this! What are you doing to me?!”
“You asked to be powerful, Prisicilla. Consider our bargain complete.”
Priscilla Ashvane’s relentlesss pursuit of power has ultimately led her to the Eternal Palace and into a dark pact with Queen Azshara. That’s the extra information that we learn from the dungeon journal and as you can see, this is not exactly what Ashvane had in mind. Still no explenation as to how she went from talking to Sylvanas into this bargain with Azshara, but there were some changes when it comes to her story. I believe in beta times there was supposed to be a connection between her and Azshara from the start of the expansion. The kraken you fight during the Siege of Boralus dungeon--why would a kraken fight for ashvane, right? Similar as to how on the Horde side, there’s a hinted connection between Azshara and Prophet Zul which never really played fully played out. They had a storyline planned with Ashvane which would lead her into an allegiance with Azshara, but made some changes and now we end up with this unexplained plot.
But who knows, I mean Battle for Azeroth isn’t over yet. Maybe this is all part of some grand scheme involving Sylvanas...who knows!
Ashvane lumbers around with a massive shell covering her back which absorbs quite a lot of damage but will eventually drop off for a bit allowing you to really bring the pain. It exposes the beautiful spiky azerite hair she's got going on now. The carapace will regrow, stronger then before--let's make sure to kill her before we run out of steam.
Don’t be like me and just stand in the middle of the room, falling down to a quick demise...as with Ashvane’s defeat, the floor opens up, inviting us further into the palace.
Lady Ashvane is a major character in Battle for Azeroth, orchestrating a coup against Katherine Proudmoore in Boralus with the assistance of Freehold Pirates and creating many Azerite explosives. She was eventually defeated by Jaina Proudmoore using the Lord Admiral's Pendant to summon the Kul Tiras fleet and surround her. You can learn more about those quest lines in the
Story of Kul Tiras
.
However, in a later patch, she was freed from the Tol Dagor prison in the
Horde War Campaign
, and was last seen talking to Sylvanas. If you just want to read about Lady Ashvane's story in each patch, check out our PTR preview
The Fate of Lady Ashvane
.
Lady Ashvane is a two phase encounter in which the raid must break through her
Gehärteter Panzer
in phase one as to allow them to deal heavy boss damage during phase two as her carapace regenerates. Excellent coordination is needed to defeat this boss, as several mechanics require teamwork and communication to deal with correctly. One of her notable drops is the
Lichtloser Wegelagerer
battle pet.

Orgozoa
“Ah, good. You arrived just in time to welcome these little ones into my service.” “We cannot allow these creatures to hatch. They will overrun the surface!”
Welcome to Azshara’s personal hatchery where Orgozoa keeps an eye on things, preparing for the day her incubating horrors are unleashed upon Azeroth. Its tentacles come with quite a sting. Poison that tries to reach your tank's heart, killing them instantly. By sharing the pain they’ll survive, while the rest of the team needs to avoid death from above and death from Orgozoa. He likes to splooge us with incubation fluids, something that you don’t want to share with the others.
We push him down, quite litteraly as Orgozoa retreats to the lower chamber. Don’t try to be clever and jump off the stairway, you will only find a quicker death.
Downstairs Orgozoa is busy casting his massive incubator spell which gives us a bit of time to hurt it until the spell is interupted. Take care of the adds, take care of Orgozoa, onwards to the Queen’s Court.
“I should be cross over your brutal attacks upon my underlings, but...I must admit, you provide splendid entertainment. Perhaps he was right after all. You do show great potential.”
“Enough games, Azshara! This shall be the final day of your twisted reign.”
Orgozoa is the fifth boss in Azshara's Eternal Palace, found in the Depths of the Devoted wing.
Benthic Gear
with
Schaden gegen Entartungen
is especially notable on Orgozoa as you deal increased damage to aberrations.

Orgozoa has a very similar model to the
Auge des Verderbers
, an NPC in Nazjatar with disquieting whispers. In
Eye of the Corruptor Whispers in Nazjatar
we review all the whispers and speculate on their meaning.
Queen's Court
This is the Queen’s Court and our queen will not tolerate any impudence. As long as we entertain her, she’ll allow us to live. A good lesson to keep in mind as we take on the queen’s court, Pashmar the Fanatical and Silivaz the Zealous.
“She is not our queen, spit on her.”
For ten thousand years, the Queen’s Court has never failed to enforce the word of Azshara. Now, the queen’s most powerful servants stand ready to fullfill her final decree. As if dealing with the two bosses that want us to run away or either get real close isn’t hard enough, Azshara is also keeping an eye on the fight and sometimes just gets bored. To spice things up she’ll give us orders, and as they're orders from the queen herself, no one can disobey. She’ll tell us where to stand, when to stack, or when to split. Dance to her command and do what she says.
Queen's Court is the sixth boss in Azshara's Eternal Palace, found in the Depths of the Devoted wing.
The Queen's Court is a single phase encounter in which the raid must deal with two bosses simultaneously. Throughout the fight, Queen Azshara will enact various decrees that the raid must follow, otherwise they will suffer dire consequences... Learn how to defeat this boss in the

Performing several nice emotes to the Queen will award you the
Staatsstreich
achievement, but if you rudely emote her, she may kill you instead!
Za'qul
The further down we go, the darker our enemies become. More and more void creatures stand in our way until we reach the Precipice of Dreams. The last two fights of the raid have to be my favorite, starting off with Za’qul, Harbinger of Ny’alotha.
“There is...a presence here. Tendrils strangling my mind.”
“The locks weaken. The world screams. N’Zoth rises once more.”
"Out there...titan pillars. And chains descending into darkness....”
“Azshara wants us to see this. Why? Surely she knows we would never let that monster free!”
“There is no time to warn the others! We must end this champions...now!”
Ny’alotha is a realm shrouded by mystery, mentioned by void-related items like the
Puzzlebox des Yogg-Saron
but also beings like Il'gynoth and Y'Shaarj. We don’t know exactly what Ny’alotha is. Perhaps it’s displayed during this fight, perhaps its the realm where N’Zoth is hanging out. Perhaps it’s an area in the void realm or something else entirely...We’re not exactly certain.
The harbinger for the end of days, Za’qul shreds the last vestiges of sanity from a world in chaos, laying the foundation for Azeroth’s new master. This fight takes place in different realms. Our realm, the Fear Realm and Delirium--my personal favorite realm as that one provides a beautiful haste buff and dying in it just sends you back to the previous realm. That means we need to take care of the boss, and the abilities that he throws at us, in different realms at the same time. Thankfully we do not stand alone. Thalyssra and Shandris are with us in this battle.
“Champions, I will hold open a portal to reality for as long as I can.”
On Mythic difficulty, Thalyssra pulls everyone back to reality to prevent them from succumbing to Za’qul’s madness, but then falls victim to the whispers of the Old Gods. It does seem like this is a temporary kind of loss as Thalyssra still shows up for the Azshara fight.
Za'qul is the seventh boss in Azshara's Eternal Palace, is found in The Circle of Stars wing. Notable loot includes
Za'quls Schulterstücke
and
Namenloser Achtfüßer
.
Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha is a four phase encounter in which the raid will be dragged to several different realms to deal with the bosses dangerous abilities. An excellent understanding of boss abilities is needed to defeat this mechanically complex encounter. Learn how to defeat this boss in the
Za'qul Guide
by FatbossTV.
Originally on the 8.2 PTR, Za'qul was called the Herald of N'zoth. When his title was updated to the Harbinger of Ny'alotha, drawing a clear connection between N'Zoth and the city, we wrote
Ny'alotha, the Sleeping City of N'Zoth
. In this article, we review past mentions of Ny'alotha and what it means if this city is the realm of N'Zoth. Since the beginning of Warbringer: Azshara, N'Zoth's goal has been to restore the glory of the Black Empire - the kingdom of the Old Gods that ruled Azeroth before the Titan's defeated and imprisoned their leaders. Ny'alotha being a city associated with sleep, which is commonly used as a metaphor for death throughout the Old God whispers, implies that its inhabitants may be all those imprisoned or dead minions who fell in the war with the Titans. Therefore, it may be the central key to restoring the Black Empire - if the city awakens, so to do all its inhabitants, and that does not bode well for the current residents of Azeroth!
The Eternal Palace raid also revisits many whispers from the Emerald Nightmare raid spoken by Il'gynoth. In
The Emerald Dream and Il'gynoth's Whispers in Rise of Azshara
we examine how all of these prophecies play out.
Queen Azshara
“Nicely done. It is so rare for mortals to exceed my expectations. If only your friends had had been as capable. That human novice, and the pale elf with the sword. Ah well... acceptable losses.”
“Liar!”
“Now is that any way to repaay me for my generosity? For the privilege I have seen fit to grant you? Come heroes. Prove yourselves worthy. Find me in the circle of stars.”
“At last! The final preparations are in place and we have a captive audiance.”
“Stay vigilant champions. Azshara conceals schemes within schemes. She wants something.”
“You must indulge the theatrical nature of tonight’s entertainment. We have waited so very long for this moment, and we simply cannot resist savoring it.”
“Without further ado...The stage is set, the hour is at hand. Legions arise! Serve your queen’s command!”
Remember how earlier you could spit on the queen and instantly die? Well now you can also pledge your loyalty to her and become hostile to everyone else around you. Disgust her and she’ll make you vomit. Some lovely interactions to be found within the last prison, the final stage of Azshara’s grand schemes.
“I call the cursed lovers to enter thee stage!”
“Their eyes long for one another, yet their gaze incurs calamity.”
To keep it all theatrical, Azshara has us fight the cursed lovers that need to see each other but can’t stand one another.
The really interesting part of the fight is the stage that we’re fighting on. It’s of titan design and it has Wards of Power. If one of them is completely drained the raid takes ticking damage. If all of them run out, Azshara wins. The ancient wards will be disabled and override the titan device keeping N’Zoth imprisoned. While she floats around the field, Azshara keeps things interesting with handing out commands until we’ve dealt with the cursed lovers and she’s ready to unleash her own powers.
The ward in the middle now also activates. This one does not power the facility, it actually empowers the queen if you let it. You can drain the energy by standing on the ward, similar to how you can keep the other wards energized. It gains energy from the queen being close to it or her loyal followers reaching the middle, ready to lay down their lives for the glory of Azshara.
“From darkness, sirens come forth. COax the power of these arcanes wards! Rattle the chains that bind him!”
“Stars save us...Azzshara is drawing upon the Heart of Azeroth. Feeding its enrgies into her ritual!”
“You’ve only just come to this realization? “First Arcanist” indeed! You see the truth now, don’t you heroes? Every move you’ve made has been according to my will.”
“Champions, stop her!”
“That lumbering dwarf believed you could save Azeroth by empowering your shiny little Heart. The gift of a sleeping titan. yes, a titan’s heart was eactly what was needed. Not to heal the world...but to shatter the prison of a god. Such delicious irony...the diamond king has been made a pawn.”
“The ritual nears completion. The black empire rises and the world awaits its true queen.”
“There will be no corination this day. Thalyssra aid me. Together we can hold her here.”
“Now you will know what it means to be trapped Azshara!”
“I am Azshara! I was destined to rule. No force can bind me.”
“Champions! Claim victory!’
Another whisper of Il’gynoth is repeated here. You might have already caught the one about
drowning ourselves in the Circle of Stars
, and
the king of diamonds has been made a pawn
. The necklace that we’ve been filling up is now turned against us in an attempt to shatter N’Zoth’s prison. That is why the queen has been toying with us. Moving the pieces just right to accomplish their plan.
“You caught me off guard. Fair enough. But you are as trapped here as I. This need not be the end...for any of us. I know your dreams...your lust for power. The hunger with which you pursue your desires. Kneel before me and I will bestow talents beyond your wildest imagination. refuse...and be crushed beneath the tides. Choose your fate. ”
The wards are running empty and N’zoth’s piercing gaze crosses the battlefield. The consule surges with power, power that really hurts but can also be used to our advantage. Her alluring aura still beckons heroes towards her, even inspiring jealousy amongst them, pushing them to be first to answer their queen’s call. An ability she already commanded even way back when--not even the demons summoned through the Well of Eternity were immune to her charms. The queen whose power was said by Mannoroth to be close to Kil'jaeden and Archimonde. The queen who refused to become a slave as she allied with N’Zoth. She has thrown everything at us, but the Horde and the Alliance working together are able to end her life...
“You are all...beneath me...”
“She wanted us divided. Fighting each other kept us distracted from the true threat.”
“Azshara wasn’t the only one manipulating us. I should have seen it sooner.”
“Do not relax your guard. Something here is...stirring.”
Queen Azshara is the final boss in Azshara's Eternal Palace, found in The Circle of Stars wing.
Queen Azshara is the ruler of the naga, overseeing their activities from the sunken city of Najzatar. She was once the ruler of the night elves, being beloved by both Kaldorei and Highborne alike. Being one of the most beautiful and powerful beings to ever exist in Azeroth, her Alliance with Sargeras and the Burning Legion led to her downfall, destroying both the Kaldorei empire and sundering Azeroth itself during the War of the Ancients.
However, she was not completely defeated after the Sundering, striking a pact with the Old God N'Zoth and saving the Highborne by transforming them and creating the naga race. Now acting as one of the rulers of the oceans, Azshara continues plotting to rid the world of what she perceives as inferior races. Learn more in our

Azshara Cinematic
We talked about this in more detail during my reaction video, but as we can see... N’Zoth isn’t quite done with the queen and drags her down below. Some find the sound effect very similar to a dagger stabbing her, which I’m not saying is impossible. They might want to let us hear N’Zoth using the Blade of the Black Empire...but at the same time we haven’t heard a thing about Nathanos and the blade during Nazjatar so it would be a bit out of the blue...but who knows!
Another line from Il’gynoth mentions that “At the hour of her third death, she ushers in our coming.” It’s still unclear whose death they’re talking about. Some speculate Sylvanas, some Alleria, some think perhaps it’s Azeroth and now, since Azshara died once to enter the bargain, and died a second time right here, perhaps her death in the future will usher in their coming. This could mean N'Zoth and his armies, the old gods taking over the world, the voidlords in general, something else entirely...who knows!
Sadly not the massive cinematic event people were hoping for to close off the palace raid, but we do get some teasing for the future as well as learning Azshara is still out there... And we can't forget that N’Zoth's prison has been shattered. For the first time since the days of the Black Empire, an Old God is on the loose. The next time we face him won’t be like the other Old Gods we faced. They were still trapped showing just a tiny bit of their power reaching the surface. Yogg-Saron for example is said to be as big as Northrend, when the day comes...when we’ll have to face N’zoth... it’s going to be one hell of a battle. Will that battle be the next patch? Hard to say.
We've also analyzed the cinematic and speculated on where the plot could go next in
Azshara's Third Death and the Final Boss of BFA - Eternal Palace Cinematic Analysis
. In this article, we examine Old God whispers, the Circle of Stars, Azshara's third death, a possible trip to Ny'alotha, and more!
Besides the fate of Azshara, there are several other unanswered mysteries from Patch 8.2:
Where is the Prison of N'Zoth?
- The prison of N'Zoth appears to have shifted position since its depiction in pre-Sundering
Chronicle
--but there are many plausible explanations for this. Still, it's troubling that the prison may now be so close to the Maelstrom and the volatile energies of the Well of Eternity.
Sylvanas' Endgame
- how will Sylvanas' story tie in with Azshara and N'Zoth, where do her true allegiances lie, and what schemes does she still have in store?
Blacktalon Agents of Wrathion in Rise of Azshara
- Wrathion's agents are spying on us in 8.2 and we don't know why. Could this tie into the Dragon Isles?
Leading up to Patch 8.2, we also speculated that
Azshara would live
, a prediction which turned out to be true. Following the pattern of Patch 8.1 focusing on Jaina and Patch 8.2 on Azshara, both Warbringers who also served as the final boss of the patch, it's likely that 8.3 will focus on Sylvanas.
Factions Moving Forward
There is the rumor going on that the ending of 8.2 should make it clear who the end boss for Battle for Azeroth is going to be. From this you’d say N’Zoth, but as some of you pointed out during my reaction video...there’s also this conversation between Jaina and Lor'themar:
“Our victory rings hollow. Azshara’s master will rise. Nothing can stop that now.”
“For all her lies, Priscilla Ashvane spoke one truth. The war between the Alliance and Horde has kept us distracted. Divided, we have no hope against N’zoth.”
“We may have found common cause here in Nazjatar, but the battle still rages beyond these waters. So long as Sylvanas holds Orgrimmar, there can be no lasting peace.”
“The war needs to end, Lor’themar. You know this to be true.”
“I had hoped that reason would prevail. But the time has come to finish this. I will tell my people what transpired here. Of how Azshara fell because we stood together. Of the threat rising from the dpeths, and all that is at stake if we should fail. Then I will take my plac ebeside Saurfang and Thrall, and pray that the sin’dorei stand with me.”
This would mean that the focus of the story and the end boss for Battle for Azeroth would be related to the rebellion built up against Sylvanas.
We have a storyline with the Spirit of Vol’jin that’s trying to figure out who wanted him to make Sylvanas the Warchief to begin with and who has been messing with his own spirit. A storyline closely connected to the afterlife. The Banshee Queen also has three Val’kyr left that are part of the original bargain to bring her back from hell, as well as the ever-loyal Nathanos doing something with the Blade of the Black empire. The real mission he was supposed to fullfill here in Nazjatar...who knows where that’s going to take us? Who knows how the rebellion is going to play out and what the point of it all is going to be? I personally can’t wait to find out.
As we've seen in the Crossroads cinematic, Jaina and Thrall are willing to work together, learning from their paths to forge a (hopefully) long-lasting peace. Now, with the new conversation between Jaina and Lor'themar, Saurfang's rebellion has gained one more key supporter. This is a big step for Lor'themar, who knows who Sylvanas was as a loyal defender of Silvermoon before her death and transformation.
In our
Crossroads cinematic analysis
, we wonder if this newfound unity will lead to the dissolution of the factions--or if we've gone too far in Battle for Azeroth to truly mend relations, leading to even more rifts and alignments.
