Yay browsers wars!
^&*!ing Hilarious, while I admit for us Internet Savvoy(tm) WoWheads, were all pretty much on Firefox or some other modern browser, however according to Wikipedia you're effectively dumping support for %20 of the internet browsers.Wikipedia Browser Usage - IE usagethat's 1 out of every 5 users is on the Internet with IE6. Windows XP, we love ya.

So uh what kind of cool stuff will you be adding that utilizes features IE6 does not support?
Maybe this is a good place to mention an ongoing bug in both Opera and Safari, and perhaps other Webkit browsers which I have not tested. When clicking a "tab" such as Comments or Currency For, or opening a picture, or clicking next on a picture, or basically anything one can possibly click, a new history item is created. Clicking the Back button on the browser does not return to the previous page, but to the previous tab, or picture, or whatever AJAXy thing was clicked before.I realize this is probably some weirdness with the browsers rather than Wowhead, but other sites such as Gmail used to suffer from this but have fixed it. It annoys me just enough to keep Firefox installed for Wowhead. I think it's appropriate to mention this, mainly because you have recommended my favorite browser: Opera!
Safari win!
Whoohoo! Thank you^^No one can Save IE6 now!
Its nice to finally see the web moving in this Direction. I'm a software engineer myself and have built plenty of web apps using struts 2.0 as the mvc with a hell of a lot of jQuery on the front end. The most tedious part of the job is browser compatability and IE6 is just a pain in the ass.Microsoft claim they will continue to support IE6 until 2014, its still the number one browser used in most large corporations and governments, but its nice to see that overall IE8 usage has surpassed IE6 usage.IE6 has had a long life but its time for it to retire.
Opera 10 <2
