Grommash as a final boss of the exp?... well, in the MMO-C website says the theme of the raid will be the Legion, Blizz said it wont be the same thing as Garrosh that a "superior" being take control of him and give him more power, but something tell me at the end Grommash will cease to the powers of the Legon and again the orcs will be corrupted...
At Blizzcon 2013, Chilton said Grommash there as well.
Oh c'mon, still on the no-flying thing! I hope my un-sub and refusal to buy the expac is enough feedback for them about me saying how much i don't like it.On the ring thing ...i pretty much prefer a ring for legendary item than anything else except a weapon ...weapons>rings>else ...i hope they play it better than with MoP, a little less grindy, a bit more skill walled.
So the next legendary is going to be a ring? Inb4 any Lord of the Rings references in the questlines.
The ring better not act as a barrier to raiding alts like the cloak. I was elated to get my first cloak. By the time I was ready to raid on an alt, I hated having to do it all again.
I knew the next legendary would end with a ring! Do we get to have an epic storyline along with it? Here's my idea of how it'll go ;)The Rulers of the Ring: Character finds ring. He has to take it to blackrock foundry to get it destroyed, but along the way they are confronted by a murloc named Gothem, who's obsessed with the ring. It'll be a trilogy, The First quest line being Rulers of the Ring, Followed by 'A couple of towers' with a climactic ending called 'Hey, the king's back!'
So.. am I the only one hoping we get Captain Planet rings...?
Why would a legendary be a ring its like the worst thing it could be besides a neck.
So ... will the ring have an on use effect that allows us to go into stealth on demand?
I'm not sure how i feel about a legendary ring? I feel like we're slowly downgrading when it comes to what items truly live up to the name legendary. We had cool weapons with deep backstory such as Warglaives of Azzinoth or Atiesh, to weapons that we went through epic questlines to create filled with challenge such as Teracgosa or Fangs of the Father, now we're getting minor items that just have flashy effects and an orange name such as the cloaks and this ring. some don't even have effects. Only good stats and orange names like the gems. It's just getting less and less legendary as time goes on. As a result, it feels less and less legendary as time goes on as well. It's certainly good blizzard is exploring new ideas, but when someone thinks of a truly legendary artifact that possesses amazing power, the LAST thing that comes to mind is a shiny loop wrapped around your 4th finger.TL;DR - I think blizzard is misusing the word legendary and forgetting what it truly means for something to be a legend. When they say legendary, I think of like Atiesh, of Thunderseeker, or even Quel'delar, the unofficial legendary, which is 10 times more qualified than a ring.I may sound a bit brash, but this is all my opinion, and i think Blizzard should move back to item categories that make you feel significant and powerful and makes you turn heads instead of invisible items that make you a bit shinier for wearing, or minors like cloaks.
A ring? Can't even see it -_-
Thank you very much for this info :)
