Couple things:1. Gladiator stance is definitely for sure 100% not coming back ever again. It was a total nightmare to balance and it reduced talent choices for prot and most of the warrior community just wasn't into it at all.2. One handed fury is definitely for sure 100% never ever ever ever ever ever ever absolutely NEVER going to come back. It was only even viable for Vanilla and TBC when we had no other options. Get over it, Titan's Grip is for sure here to stay and obviously the way Blizzard wants fury warriors to be.Y'all basically want 5 different spec's for warriors, no thanks give me specs that work 100% of the time and are not insanely gear reliant. Oh and pre-Cata version of Heroic Strike plus increased rage generation from crits I'll take those back too. :>
I really hope the pooling is minimal, god I hate pooling. We're not #$%&ing Rogues or Druids.
The current state of Fury in Alpha is infact criminal, I too can only hope they haven't really updated the spec yet. Key cooldowns have now global cds, can't bind them together, the ouptut damage is worse than any other spec currently in Alpha.
Why Blizzard hate so much fast-paced or "spammy" playstyle? In the case of Prot Warriors, what is the point of being rage starved for most of the fight? So Blizz feels like it's super fun that during the 100% of the fight, probable half of it will be me looking at the screen while my Warrior does tons of white swings until I have enough Rage to use an ability and then get starved again and another endless session of white swings until I get enough Rage to use another ability? I mean... when they talk about classes and changes, how is it possible this kind of super slow and boring playstyle can be thought as "fun" or "interesting" to both new and veteran players? Sometimes it feels like they just change things just for the sake of selling you the "new" feel, even if that change totally destroys the things you feel were the "core" of the playstyle and totally force you to play the class or spec you enjoy in a horrible and totally different way and force you to basically "cast to the wind" whatever you learned while playing. I mean, I can totally understand buffs/nerfs for the sake of balancing, but totally destroying Rage generation in the process? It feels like... basically you will always remain doing normal weapon swings while the boss is basically just doing melee swings at you, and now and then when the boss uses a special attack or spell, you press a button to use a defensive ability and reduce the damage from than skill and thats it... after that, back to the "just keep doing boring autoattacks until the boss decides to do something different" part of the fight. It feels like 80% of the fight we're going to depend solely on our base block chance + incoming healings to survive. Can you imagine a Mage spending their whole mana pool in 2-3 totally regular spells and while the mana slowly (painfully) regenerates back up, the Mage had to actually go into melee range and start to do autoattacks to avoid standing in range while mana regenerates? That's exactly how this reactive and super slow playstyle feels... press a button and then go to the kitchen and prepare yourself a sandwich while your Rage gets back up. Boooooooooooooring.
At this rate, I'm going to become a Rogue main. I unlocked dual wielding on my Warrior in 2007 at level 20 at the Sepulcher in Silverpine Forest. I've loved dual wielding 1h weapons since that day. Fury being forced to wield 2h weapons to use ablities is the single thing in WoW I've experienced that made me feel "Betrayed". Fury used 1h weapons before titan's grip even existed. Do a Proper Poll to see if more of the community want Titan's Grip removed or 1h Fury. You might be surprised.
