He literally says in clear English they had to pick between fixing the few specs that had problems or getting the game out. His answers are long winded but if you read the whole thing it's clear and not "lawyer speech".They're a business, they're not going to delay a game months so a few specs can get extra tuning or a rework. Want to let them know this pisses you off unsub and tell them why you're doing it.
Remember when the game devs either posted a blog on WoW's site, or did interviews with WoW fansites?Remember when the devs tried to announce they wanted to phase out flying with Warlords of Draenor with a non-gaming site interview? When they stopped talking to fans but to larger news orgs instead and there was no location to post direct feedback to the article?God, I miss Ghostcrawler's devblogging days. :(
You can say what you want, but during the years of gaming, I see for the first time so much negativity and discontent on the part of the players. For Ion. who said that it is important for them that the players have FUN - this should be an indicator. Absolutely dead specs in PvE and PVP, constant bug fixes, a lot of content without some kind of rebirth and much more. And regular interviews with developers, which was not observed in the early additions. Many may say that this is a good feedback, but in fact, it looks more like they are desperately trying to justify all that they have done.
He's really delusional if he can classify ANYTHING from Beta for Azeroth as a success. Before I had doubts that he is, but now I know.
Why does a business plattform get the most in depth interview on WoW i'vre read in a while? Meanwhile players / gaming plattforms are getting the short end with Q&A's and barely any forum response? Is Blizzard slowly transforming into a stockholder serving company while leaving their fanbase behind?Money Money Money
Meh I read people complaining about class balance but most people dont play at the level where it matters. But still use the argument: but muh balance. At anything but cutting edge raiding it doesnt matter what you play , and since only like 1% raids cutting edge, so Blizzard doesnt really need to work hard on fixing balance now. This is because it is impossible to balance for cutting edge raiding anyway since those guilds will always stack the best class. So why bother with it? People just refuse to think of it this way and just use it as an argument to hate on blizzard. And after 12 years of raiding I’ve just learned to accept that my class isn’t as good as other classes at some points and better at other points, just the cycle of the game. But meh I guess I am just immune to being %^&*ed over and stopped caring :) I play the game for my own reasons
