I remember doing that quest on 3 characters I believe before they removed it. Wow, the memories it brought back... and yeah a few tears. They did a great job remastering this cinematic!
We want, we NEED, Putress XMOG!
Eehhh, the only part I'd have to disagree with is the visuals, mainly pertaining to Bolvar. He looks worse in this fan-remake than he does in the original. Whoever touched up the face did a bad job on it.
Still the best cinematic this game ever had. And the remaster was awesome. But yeah, Bolvar's face looks a little weird. Probably the "flat" beard.
Beautiful. Blizzard, please replace the old one with this. And hire this guy to update all of them, like the Coliseum one. Thank you.
Wrathgate is easily the best in game cinematic. Nice job!
I really enjoyed IKedit's version of the cinematic which is among my favourite cinematics really. <3
Amazing stuff!
Nice and most needed upgrade to a very lore heavy moment of the game, Blizzard should ask this guy for permission and replace the old one with it. On a side note, this cutscene still triggers me so much, lol. I never liked the forsaken, but after Wrathgate... Boy, dislike turned into fiery hate, and it still burns to this day, especially after all Sylvanas did this xpac. I can't wait for her raid to end this once and for all, and claim vengeance long due for Bolvar and every soldier that died that day because of her and her minions.
The problem with replacing the cinematic is that for every player who would love it, there would be one who would hate it, and a lot more players who wouldn’t care either way. A compromise would be to have both, and pick one based on the old/new avatar setting. But then Blizzard can’t replace just Wrathgate, it would have to be all pre-WoD cinematics, so overall it would be quite a time-consuming work, with not enough priority compared to current content (regardless of what you think of it).(Removing lore-heavy storylines however wasn’t justified, IMO.)
Ty all ! <3
it's amazing!
This one is actually really good! Looks much better when he's not swinging the camera around all crazy like he tends to do in his original work.
