Yeah, the 2 new allied races look really interesting for m+
That bit about the ilvl scaling was super interesting I never realized that but it's definitely true! Also points for dunking on holy pallies. Also haha shamans.<3
At the start of BfA, Blizzard said they don't want to have "one shot" mechanics anymore like it happened in Legion. It's already failed in season 1 for some bosses (even after the nerfs) and pretty sure will add more bosses to the list as we progress.
night elf racial only really works for your healer to rez everyone or everyone needs it. a sole dps shadowmelding ain't going to make reaping disappear. I wonder when this will sink in to him eh?
Sure its most efficient with a healers mass rez but a DPS could also resurrect.
The way I see it, the optimal strat for reaping is going to be to deal with the first 3 reaping waves as intended, trigger the 80% wave and have everyone shadowmeld/vanish/invis/etc. Res anyone who can't drop aggro after the reaping wave resets. Kill the final boss before the last enemy forces and don't have to deal with the 100% wave either.I can't believe Blizz intends for us to deal with 3/5 waves, but I'm pretty sure it'll become the strat every dungeon it's even remotely viable in.
My only real issue with reaping is that it pushes the burst aoe classes even more than before. The meta will likely remain 2xmelee and one 'utility' ranged for the burst aoe and aoe stuns. This would be fine if Blizzard actually tuned classes based off of m+ and not just raids so we could see some variation or if we could switch gear or talents mid dungeon to make up for the deficiency. It's frustrating playing classes that can do good single target and poor aoe with one talent set, mediocre single target and mediocre aoe with another talent set and poor single target and good aoe with yet another set when other classes get to have it all with one setup.
Yeah we needed more trash thx blizz!
Yes, shadowmeld is so insanely powerful that I think Bliz wants people to faction change ;) Funny how it overshadows even the new race OP racials to such a degree. Wonder why all I ever see is alliance tears in the forums when they have been sitting on the best racial in the game ALL ALONG. What will be funny is if there is a mass exodus to Alliance for M+, *then* Blizzard will patch and simply disable shadowmeld in M+ dungeons :)
I've been hating Shadowmeld ever since I made a Tauren druid in BC and realized it basically allowed them to Vanish like a rogue, which is class functionality that never seemed like it should be on a racial. There has never been anything comparable on the Horde side, especially in PVP - having to wildly click to retarget all the time is just something Allies dont really have to deal with unless they are fighting a Rogue. About time it got the Blood Elf treatment. And yeah, all the Ally crying about racials has been very strange to listen to all that time :/
