Called from the depths to retrieve three relics of ancient power, the Restless Cabal is bound to serve N'Zoth and attend to his will. Zaxasj speaks of promises and power while Fa'thuul crushes their opposition with brute force.
!17In LFR difficulty, Zaxasj and Fa'thuul ignore the Relics of Power they have already activated.
When she struck her bargain with N'Zoth ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara offered one of her most devoted followers into the Old God's service. Now Uu'nat and the crawling masses he commands herald the coming of their master, as foretold by the stars.
Loving the effects on these items, not just stat sticks.
These are interesting! I love the return of unique itemization that they've been adding back into the game recently. It makes you actually want to get a specific piece of gear and remember the name of that piece of gear, rather than just getting any high item level piece of gear or for transmog alone.
now THIS is loot
No unique transmog like ToV...? This whole "we got rid of class sets so we could make more thematic armor for you" deal is getting worse every day.
Wow I really like some on-use stuff, like cloth pants! More work for healers but who cares about them, right!
Really cool effects, I love it!kale - The pieces shown here are all pretty light visual slots anyway - doesn't seem like it's the full loot table, unless you're looking elsewhere and have seen it's recycled?Edit: I see perc's reply, I guess it is recycled mostlyTo me the unique flavourful effects are more cool than yet another transmog, but obviously I'd prefer both.
How is gonna the on-use belt work with engineering tinkers?
Oh my god, YES!When I read the first 2 I was expecting them to be trinkets, but then I mouseovered them and saw that the item in question was a waist.Guess it's one way of adding better gear without raising the ilvl on it and it's awesome.
No bow/crossbow/gun ?
what happened to "we'll be able to add more themed armor now that we're not doing class sets"? kinda lame honestly. a lot of boring shields/heals and no tmog
The issue I have here is that the cloth gloves Klafterflossen effect gives the shield for spending mana which is great for healing priests, mages, and warlocks who all spend mana to use abilities right now. However, the effect is basically useless for Shadow priests whose abilities (other than healing/shielding) are all generators instead of spending mana. Other than that, some pretty awesome stuff here!
I love the flavourful effects. I wish more loot in the game was like this, instead of just 2 secondary stats in varying quantities.
Sounds good to me. :)
The trolling potential is overwhelming.
Shadow's mana bar is also ridiculously small by comparison to that of another caster. Even if we spent all of our mana into this shield before incoming damage, with current tooltip values the shield would be about 3000, which may as well be absolutely nothing. I guess it doesn't matter though, because unlike a lot of the other effects, this one doesn't appear to have eaten into the stat budget of the item.
