2019 costume buff is bugged.There's no buff to click off. If you get a pirate costume, you're stuck with it.EDIT: Using Gin-Ji-Messersatz will at least remove the chef hat, so you won't be bald.
Dread Captain DeMeza will shout about spotting Ol' Eary every 10-15 minutes or so. The first time she yelled it I couldn't find Ol' Eary anywhere, but the second time I did spot him almost below the end of the dock. Had just over a million health for me at level 120. I Received the slightly-Chewed Insult Book, as did someone else who also killed it with me.
still bugged pirate appearance
The pirate appearance is still bugged. When using Mystischer Erstsemesterhut and then removing that buff, the pirate costume disappears and you get your regular appearance. The pirate costume is back when hearthing or using a portal though, but the toy only has a 6 min cool down.
Hey guys! If you're stuck with the bugged pirate outfit, remain calm! All you have to do is queue for an arena skirmish and upon entering the arena, it should clear the appearance change. It worked for me, at least.
