If my eyes don't deceive me I cannot see Outland mentioned.

I personally like the Pathfinder system a lot! but yes, for players that where doing all the stuff from the beginning to the end, is something that comes out while grinding or doing dailies, but for new players or returning ones is always a problem, trying to tell them: "- hey lets play wow its awesome!- oh ok cool- k, first, level to 120 (glad this will change) - ..120 levels?- yeah and then I can help you unlock flying! its beautiful and awesome! but it will take a month maybe two- *disconnected*- ....buddy?"In few words, I wouldn't mind to keep the pathfinder, BUT! a change is necessary for new players and those who are returning when the expansion is at the end or when we are in the next one. If someone complains "why they get it easy and I cannot" simple, because YOU already played during the expansion (or at least good part of it so you can fly), less cry, more fun and focus on yourself. Now, a thing I would like to suggest (if possible), is the need to fly because a certain place in the game requires it, for example Storm Peaks (Ulduar) or ICC (because of all the mobs around it), yes there where a few fly points, but in the end it was really a need to fly, not just because it makes everything easier, connect a feature of the game with the place we are around, that will be cool in SL.
Of course just about all of those zones are worse for not allowing flight. Rather like how not allowing mounts in most Raids doesn't make them better it makes them less appealing. That said I appreciate having the first pass through a zone be on foot. There is definite pleasure in the pace of zone unrolling gradually. Traveling by flight is commuting. Traveling on foot is exploring. The problem comes when you invert those values after enough play and riding from X to y is no longer about texture it's about getting dismounted because a deer with a death wish charged you. For all the legacy junk in WoW's dna "daze and dismount" is some of the most hoary and wretched. Then flight becomes necessary.Maybe introducing flight at all was a mistake, but that doesn't matter now. Now there is Pathfinder. Pathfinder's not all bad, but the time gating and "parts" doesn't help.
the underwater cata zone, does not allow flying its swimming. Nothing can be done above the surface of the water. Unless you're playing little cheeky troll by saying you can fly technically. I mean it makes as much sense as putting the scenario in the list.
It's a marketing tactic and a very bad one at that. It's designed to specifically draw out your gameplay, while also waving flying and chest "rewards" around to directly compel those people to also draw out their own gameplay. It's boring and pathetically clear it's a simple cash-grab.The worst part about it, though, is the "hardcore" crowd, who crow on endlessly about "earning" it. As if playing an online game is saving the planet somehow. There's actually a word for that, sycophants.
Why not just put a cooldown on flying? Like say 30 minutes. And once you activate it, you can fly until you dismount, or for say 5 to 10 minutes(for pvp to still allow flying even if someone ganked you from the sky). And then have the pathfinder achievements reduce it, little by little. And when you get the full pathfinder, you have unrestricted flying.
These guides that list player levels REALLY needs to be updated ASAP! No one is or will be lvl 120 now..soooo😅
