Ok point taken, so its garbage for everyone. Necrotic needs to go and Tyranical needs tuning like instead of 40% hp to like 20% or get rid of the hp completly, that would be best.
It just beggars belief that Blizzard of course want us to play the content but then keep these tired, obnoxious affixes that absolutely no one wants to play.The dungeons are really good in SL, Blizzard have done a top job in designing them, the fact that there are way more than one or two routes you can play is brilliant.Just get rid of these stupid relics from Legion and let us enjoy the content ok?
I feel like I'm gonna sacrifice the vault this week just because it's unplayable. I ran several 14+ for the past 2 days and it's impossible to do for real.
It could be baseline for difficulty, would be ok.The real problem is that there is such a huge gap between tyranical and fortified and also between some other affixes.We shouldn't have such a large difference like we have now between "good" and "bad" weeks.
It seems devs do not try their own designs, like ever. Who have thought of necrotic on unkiteable mobs in Necrotic wake up in the necropolis, when you have 3+ more mobs with fast autoattacks and 30+ stacks after 5 seconds? I won't even start on Tyrannical or constant mob spawns in Catacombs. Test your stuff, Blizzard, please. There should never be an occasion when challenge requires more investment than it awards in return.

It is this sort of affixes that drive tanks and healers away.They really need to do something to discourage people from dpsing and incentivize them to tank or heal. They need to make tanking and healing easy so that everyone can tank or heal effectively.Someone might say "Oh, but tanks and healers already get to jump the queue." But that's not good enough. These people are treating a symptom of a problem as an advantage. Tanks and healers should NOT be so rare that they can skip the queues.The designs of encounters should put more burden of the mechanics on the dps, and avoid giving the tanks and healers too much mechanics to worry about.
I joined a goldpaid group from the Oblivion community this reset, whom took me together +15 timed for all the 8 mythics. Mad skillz for them all. Though I was asked to help dpsing because of the affixes. Only Spires of Ascension failed in time and had to be redone because of the tank dcing and wasting the buff from prideful, elsewise all of them suceeded in time on first try.
From a healer perspective, Tyrannical is just a ^&*!@#ed affix. The idea behind is fine, but the % is wrong. Especially the HPs, 40% is way too much, 1 wipe at 1 boss for whatever reason and key is gone. Something like 25% more HPs and 20% more damage sounds difficult enough.Also I find totally unfair that during Tyr weeks there are affixes that pump up mobs. This is again plain wrong, it has to be “I breeze through mobs but bosses are hard” or “I struggle with mobs but bosses are easy”. Strong bosses plus strong mobs is TERRIBLE design.
Two more days and we can play mythic+ again, for a week.
