Horrible quest! As is - the best way to complete this is form a group of 5 people. Stay within range and that way you can share loot for kills. Its the only way to currently do this without pulling out your hair!

Blizz: If you read this - 2007 called and want their spawn and drop rates back!

Try the quest in war mode if you're having the spawn rate/overcrowding problem.
Finished collecting drops in ~5 minutes with it on.

Another horrible Blizzard quest. Slow spawn rate, low drop rate, or maybe only one person gets a drop per kill. Could have been an easy quest but Blizzard decided to make it a grind.

This quest really took me back to the day Burning Crusade came out. Of making my shaman and having to sit and spawn camp one spot for almost an hour because the quest mobs had a terrible spawn rate and there were dozens of people doing the quest.

Truly - this is the Draenei's heritage. Garbage spawn rates and terrible quest design.

If you are tired of waiting for spawns, Pro Tip: Go to Stormwind, turn on Warmode, head back. Takes a few minutes, but totally worth it. I was able to finish the questline with absolutely no one around.

I'll admit, the terrible spawn rates plus drop chance RNG on the quest items takes me right back to mucking about in BC with the flashy new Draenei race. I'm undecided on whether I find this amusingly cute or exasperatingly annoying.

Tips:

1. Try using WM to phase off

2. If you still find company, get in groups - groups can share mob tags. Use the Ping feature or map ping to point out where the lootable mobs are

The bottleneck here is being caused by far too many players being solo and eliminating mobs that don't hyperspawn within a few globals. You can be here for an hour if you are a solo hero. A group should take you 10-15 minutes max even with drop chance RNG.

Hopefully Blizzard hotfixes this in some way. At the very least it shouldn't have drop chance RNG which the majority of quests in modern WoW with similar design don't.

[Arzaal and I are of the same mind. We must know the strength of these satyr before we attempt to drive them back with force. Else we may be walking into a fight we cannot win. I can learn much about my enemies by observing what damage they leave in their wake. The wildlife here was corrupted by the Exodar's lingering energies, but I suspect the demons' presence made it worse. Collect bones from the local wildlife for me. Studying them may give us some clues.]
